Eyes on Edison is a public arts project that puts eyes on local talent, artists and arts venues in the Edison neighborhood of Kalamazoo. These eyes are intended to bring attention to the cool arts happenings in our community, foster conversations, and increase connections and opportunities for local visual artists while beautifying our experience here in Kalamazoo.

Artist statement: Eyes are relatable in so many ways in our human experience -- Seeing, being seen, or unseen,

Looking, inward reflection or outward awareness. Eyes viewing, gazing, observing allows us to imagine different perspectives or lenses onto our shared world and our place in it. They are an invitation to explore.

Eye Bike Trail

Want to take a tour of the Eyes? You can do it via the Eye Bike trail. The trail is marked with... you guessed it eyes! There is a trail head at the Washington Square Library, the Farmers Market or the Edison Neighborhood Association. The trailheads have parking and restroom access. Take a screen shot of the map here for a birds eye view of the trail and have a great time exploring. Stay tuned as the map will be updated regularly with new eye additions and fun places to stop.
